How does Kristal.AI earn $$$?

Asking since they are free for under USD50K. Also would like to check if it is possible to transfer in USD using Youtrip, and transfer out in USD to my DBS MCA account to avoid conversion spread?

Thanks for the query. There are 2 conditions you need to be aware of - Its free only upto 50,000 USD size after which the fees kick in. Secondly only 25 trades are free (excluding automated rebalances) and beyond that you are upgraded to paid tier. The idea is to have more investing like behaviour and not frequent trading which in my experience I strongly believe investing like behaviour is better in longer term. We make money from more HNW client who bank millions with us. We do not get any commissions on Forex conversions.

Hi there, I have opened an account with Kristal. AI and realised they do not accept any other bank account for conversion rate. They use brokerage account as a third party, the conversion currency rate is better than the SG bank. That's what they explained in the email.
