Hi, for trading overseas counters (US, HK, etc), is it safe for our investment to be kept by the custodian account (IB, iFast, FSMone,etc) ? Thanks?

Yes it's safe. Been using TD Ameritrade for a number of years and no issues so far.

When you open the custodian account, it is in your name. It is safe plus you have no choice. Shares need to be stored somewhere, even CDP is a custodian.
