I have most of my information synced into iCloud, and I'm very used to Apple's interface

Learning curve is steep when switching from Apple to Android/Windows since Android/Windows allows for alot of customisation. If you're willing to learn, sure why not switch over, you might find a whole new world out there! Esp since cost is a concern.

There are apps out there to port over your data from iPhone to android which will make your life easier in switching. Try this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=c...

Since you are so used to the ios system, it would be good to continue using the system As it would be troublesome to relearn the new android systems again.

I’ve been using iPhones for a very long time, and previously used 2 macbook pros for 10 years.

Tbh, it’s much easier to switch the macbook because the laptop market is so competitive right now that you’re paying waaaaaay more money for outdated hardware on the macbook.

In fact only the MacBook Pro with touch bar is kind of current generation hardware with 8th gen Intel chips. All other MacBooks are previous generation hardware.

I switched to a PC 3 years back and never missed the macbook.

I’m wondering if this is the moment for me for iPhone as well.
