I agree which is why I want to know if I can 'make it' if I can't communicate with Chinese buyers.

You donā€™t have to speak chinese to communicate. Rich chinese speak first by using English then up to a point where they are comfortable with you then chinese is needed

In Singapore, it will be ideal for you to be fluent in Mandarin as a property agent. Most of your clients may likely be local Singaporean Chinese or PRC citizens.

This is an interesting question! I actually don't see why not :)

I've been seeing a ton of ads online and on youtube when it comes from this people called the Property Lim Brothers. Very well produced videos and marketing.

From a homeowner standpoint, I think the best ads I have seen and property agents I have met, and used ourselves are:

  • Meticulous (when it comes to handover/takeover)

  • Adaptable (play and convince both sides well, renter and rentee)

  • Hard working (weekdays and weekends all working, doing viewing)

  • Creative (in the ways they market themselves)
