Can I be a borderline successful property agent if I have a poor grasp of Mandarin and dialect?

What are some factors that'll make me a good property agent?

In Singapore, it will be ideal for you to be fluent in Mandarin as a property agent. Most of your clients may likely be local Singaporean Chinese or PRC citizens.

This is an interesting question! I actually don't see why not :)

I've been seeing a ton of ads online and on youtube when it comes from this people called the Property Lim Brothers. Very well produced videos and marketing.

From a homeowner standpoint, I think the best ads I have seen and property agents I have met, and used ourselves are:

  • Meticulous (when it comes to handover/takeover)

  • Adaptable (play and convince both sides well, renter and rentee)

  • Hard working (weekdays and weekends all working, doing viewing)

  • Creative (in the ways they market themselves)
