I would urge much caution investing money in foreign property.

As a foreigner, laws can be passed which suddenly disadvantage you and your stake in the property.

There are also other considerations such as management of the property/tenant, taxes, foreign exchange risks etc

If you are not a citizen, maybe have to consider abit. I know the policies changed over the years and may not be good for foreigners. Most of the people I know did not profit from it (but could be because of Covid times)
