I think it is a special REIT in that it sits in a part of Singapore that is not so prime, yet command good rates. Also, when the port moves, there will be some redvelopment at that portion, it should be interesting.
Vivo city and the offices there which MCT owns seem to feed each other. Its also a mall where, they gain office crowds, they also gain crowds from nearby work places as folks transit at harbourfront mrt. Weekends there are crowds that go to this mall as well.
I hope that I can form a core position if it gets to 6% dividend yield.
