How safe is a typical bank? End of story. Both work on the insurance that your money is intact. Difference is that one is guaranteed by MAS. Dezy will still have your money even if it disappears. Just that they will apply for claim to insurers for your money back

Thank you for asking this question and thank you also to everyone who chimed in here on the thread!
Im the CEO of DeZy so I figured I'd comment.
We offer a risk mitigated platform but we have never made claims of being risk free. There simply is no such thing.
We DO NOT engage in trading or leverage with customer funds. I feel that really needs to be stressed as trading, leverage and otherwise unclear yield strategies is really the main source of the problems we are seeing lately.
Every dollar deposited remains in a 1:1 backed stablecoin (XSGD or USDC) and is never converted into a fluctuating crypto asset. We also use a variety of sources of yield, all of which are displayed on our website, to mitigate the potential for a single source of failure.
As was highlighted by someone else in this thread, we do have some DeFi native insurance protecting against smart contract vulnerabilities and custodian risk as well.
That said, we absolutely encourage users to be mindful of their overall risk exposure whether its with DeZy or with anyone else.
