Hi anon,

If you were not warded, your expenses for getting treatment at the hospital are considered outpatient since you were not admitted IN to the hospital.

Post hospitalization expenses refer to the cost of continuing medically necessary treatment after a discharge. The treatment must be related to your admission.

Hi,

Outpatient expenses is when one goes to the hospital for treatment but do not need to be warded.

Post Hospitalisation expenses is when one is previously warded and discharged and subsequently there is still a need to come back for follow-up treatment.

Hope that answers your questions.

Cheers.
