What should I do if I want to cancel my whole life plan?

I paid for a few months already & I’m regretting it now. I have the Manulife Ready LifeIncome plan and its for 10 years and I realised there are better ways to cover for insurance & grow my capital.

For this purpose, you will either inform your insurance agent to assist in the termination or to call up the customer service hotline to inform them of the same. In most cases, you will need to submit a termination form (or surrender form) as a formal request to the insurer.

Before you do so, I will highly recommend for you to speak with your agent to evaluate the plan again and whether it is capable of fulfiling your future needs.

In like manner, it will likely be a better option for you to get your new insurance coverage before you terminate the existing insurance policy. This is to protect your insurability interest and to get pass the standard waiting period to that end.
