That is a great question!
I think this depends on 2 things -
the withdrawal speed of cash smart, which you can read here
the short term worst-casevolatillity of the cash smart portfolio, which can read here
My personal preference is to not use cash smart for ultra short term money (like within 1 month), but to use
Cash Smart Core for money that may need to be deployed within 1-3 months
Cash Smart Enhanced for money that may need to be deployed within between 3 months to 2 years
My personal preference is to put the equities investment money into Enhanced since I am willing to take risk with the money anyway.
