Multi-gen living works best when there’s mutual respect and clear expectations. Involve them in small ways so they feel valued, but be mindful of their energy and health too

Living with elderly parents can be really nice for the kids, just need to set gentle boundaries early since parenting styles will differ. Let them enjoy being grandparents instead of co-parents, and pick your battles to keep the peace. End of the day, harmony at home matters more than being perfect.
