I recently bought a bicycle to use to and fro my house and the nearest MRT station. Besides that, I also use it within the neighborhood to catch up with friends or daily errands. Honestly, it has saved me quite a bit on bus fare. Not only that, I am also able to add some KMs to my cardio.

I make use of multiple apps that gives me cashback/promotions. Apps like shopback, fave, burpple, etc. Other than separating your needs and your wants, using these apps help in saving a little bit each time. For instance, if I freqent a particular place that uses fave pay/shopback go, I get to save on every subsequent trip because of their cashback. Sometimes the cashback can even go up to 25%! Or if my friends and I are going out, we would use apps like burpple/eatigo so as to save on the cost of the meals while at the same time, still being able to enjoy somewhere nice. These small savings really makes a big difference in the long run and theres no harm/loss in using all these apps so why not?
