TikTok videos are more for amusement than education. It could sometimes be in excessive figures.

Our parent's times have no issue with multiple children (of course considering pricing inflation was different)

Generally whether with kids or no kids, saving for emergency funds is still the priority.

I think that video is on the extreme end and should be taken with a pinch of salt. As others have mentioned, it boils down to what your kids need and what you deem appropriate for them. If you want to save money, consider getting credit cards that are beneficial for families

It is always affordable. Just how much you choose to spend.

Those w kids can stay home, go playgrounds, play sports - all these are free.

Grocery shop in bulk, shop online with coupons.

Cook and eat at home, healthy and fun.

Read story books, play games together.

Even just going to playground outside HDB is good enough for the kids. No need indoor playground.
