W-8BEN form submission on Interactive Brokers - does "updating" the form mean the submission is complete and accepted?

Hi, I just opened an Interactive Brokers account and "updated" the W-8BEN form by following the instructions on their FAQ. But I'm a bit confused because there doesn't seem to be any kind of feedback.

When I created an FSMOne account, I sent the completed form by e-mail and they replied "We have received your W-8Ben declaration... Your account is now ready for US Stocks and ETFs trading."

For IBKR, can I straight away start buying US stocks after I've "updated" W-8BEN form? Thanks!
