Thinking of taking a 1-3 mths break in between jobs. Under what situation would you do it and whether it is advisable to do so.

If staying on means I need to admit myself into IMH, i will do it to recover

If u got spare cash to survive for next 3 month by all means.

I think if u need to take a break then go for it.. but best if h can take no pay leave while still have a job secured.. having emergency fund like the rest have said is impt to have a peace of mind while ur taking a break.. one of my colleagues told me if u or your family is not depending on your salary to survive, then best to rest for the sake of your health.. health is hard or can

never be earned back, money can..

If your emergency fund is beyond strong, this is a good time to use it.
