Hello
I am planning of start RSP with FSM from $500 SGD each month to purchase US ETF such as SPY, VOO. However, considering the 30% tax might eat up most of my return, I am also thinking of buying Irish Don-ETF with only 15% tax.
Which one do you recommend as a long term investment? Is it realistic to take the 30% tax into consideration? Is US ETF still a better choice when it comes to return rate?
Looking forward your advice:))

The 15% witholding tax is only on your dividend. So assume your dividend is 2%, the witholding tax is 0.3%. Does 0.3% eat up most of your return? I don't think so.
For $500/mth, I would suggest to batch up and invest quarterly via SCB.
If die die must buy monthly, FSMOne cost is lower in the initial stage (first 5 years).
I personally do it via FSMOne as its automated, where SCB u need to do it manually.
