Since there is a IBKR SG, is it still possible to open an account in IBKR LLC? How do I do so?

Hi hi, IBKR user here in Singapore. I just did my Interactive Brokers Singapore Pte. Ltd., end of Sep. I am receiving IBKR shares, for the deposit I did and will be holding the asset / cash for a year to remain eligible. Fractional shares are credited about 1 or 2 days after each deposit. What I like the broker is the cheap commission fee even after considering the Level 1 data subscription.

Singapore residents who are Accredited or Expert investors can open an additional individual US entity account with IBLLC by using the button above or following the below procedure. The IBLLC account offers clients lower margin rates and the ability to avoid certain credit limit restrictions on margin financing for non-Singaporean products.

However:

• Singapore assets should still be traded in the IBKR Singapore account. Only non-Singapore assets can be traded in the IBLLC account.
• The additional individual US entity account with IBLLC is not available to Singapore residents who are Retail investors.
