Should you invest through your company? Especially if I own the company, is this a feasible idea? What challenges might I face?

I have a registered company doing e-commerce. Is it possible to use the same company for some long term investments incl stocks etc or would that be a problem or conflict with the main business? Curious if it's so easy or not.

For investments under a company name, capital gains and dividends are taxed. Hence effective return is lowered.

If you solely own the company, it will be better to invest under your own name to avoid getting taxed on dividends and capital gains.

Also looking at your questions you have an account with funding society. Given the current market condition, it is not advisable to put your hard-earned money into unsecured corporate bonds especially so if they are SMEs.
