Should you invest CPF and SRS using robo-advisors or by yourself?

Do you use CPF and SRS for local market only or also overseas market? Do you prefer to invest with robo like Endowus given the fee or will it be better to invest yourself?

I personally use my CPF for robo-advisors (eg EndowUs) using my CPFIS.

It yields me more returns over time and it is ultimately investing in global markets.

So I am overall pretty pleased with the results so far around 1 year on.

At the end of the day the returns from this goes back into my CPF OA as well.

I don't plan to invest my CPF.

But for SRS, I use robo-advisors because I do dollar-cost averaging. If at any time I lose my income, I can stop all recurring cash flows into investments. Time in the market is important but I can't afford to deposit $15,300 at the start of the year.

Investing by myself means I will have to pay transaction fees regularly, which is expensive because I do not invest with a lump sum.
