Should I withdraw from my AXA Pulsar plan? Invested $1800 so far. Started last October, monthly premium is $300..

I am completely clueless about whatever I signed..
gave in because FA is an old friend

I am 21 this year, working full time, staying alone and I feel like I'm forced to put this money aside, look at my bank and i don't really have enough to survive for the month it's like an evil deadly cycle..

So if I withdraw this policy, do I get back my $1800 that i invested? I dont know what i should do.
Pls help a guy out!

To be honest, $300 is not a lot of money per month. However, you are staying alone which means you are paying rent I assume. Additionally, you are working full time but at 21, I am assuming your pay is not very high (correct me if I am wrong).

I am a financial planner but even I think that you should cut your losses if you cannot sustain the amount. I hope you have at least done your insurance. If not, best to just cut your losses and re-direct part of that money to covering yourself first.

$300 is a lot, just cut loss and start to learn your own investment (just search seedly topic, like S&P500 theres alot)~ if you feel some pressure by paying this amount monthly, trust me you will terminate it anytime within the next 5 years~ (if you learn investment, likely you will terminate it even earlier~ once you realise how the $ works)

Your friend is not thinking enough for you, but well no one will care your money more than you :)

Anyway you still have to understand, you gonna buy hospital , CI/ECI, or any other type of insurance in the future, more “force money” will come in~~

  • When we are young, we all make mistake.
  • Seem like lot of charges for the plan, really painful.
