Should I use my funds kept in Singlife (<1% p.a.) to buy the latest Singapore Savings Bonds (~3% p.a.)?

Have about $10k in Singlife as part of emergency funds. Read that the Aug issue of SSB is up to 3%. Should I make the switch? How do I decide?

I actually still keep my $10k in Singlife because I consider it as my emergency fund. Should anything untoward happen to me or my family, I feel assured that I would get access to this $10k almost instantaneously to sort things out

SSB for sure, but the allocation is limited.

U can put half into SSB. provide u have emergency fund.

U have to consider that the main difference is the accessibility to your withdrawals. SSB withdrawl will take about a month. So if you can have emergency cash that last u a couple of months while waiting for SSB, yes you should do the switch :)

You should just swtich!...
