Data analytics is a big field with many sub-specialization like database, data models, data visualization etc. You can have a look at those job posting and see what kind of skills/tools are required and start from there. some don't even need scripting, like Microsoft power BI.

it can be quite monotonous looking at data and trying to make sense of it. so if you are ok with it, then try it out.
