My mum age 86 is insured with Incomeshield plan B. My mum was warded in KTPH, YCH and WH (woodlands hospital) from March to May this year. The charges are listed as below, my query is on the 3rd visit in WH. Is the charges for WH correct? I thought the deductible is already paid on the 1st visit in ktph, the charges for subsequent visit in YCH and WH should be on the co-payment only. Why is the charges for WH amounts to $2737.60?

4/3/26 to 12/3/26 in KTPH (8 days), the total charges after subsidy is $4669.57 in which ISP pays $2177.61, medisave is $2491.96.
12/3/26 to 31/3/26 in YCH (19 days), the total charges after subsidy is $6663.05, ISP pays $6340.03, medisave is $323.02.
14/5/26 to 26/5/26 in WH (12 days), the total charges after subsidy is $7126.03, ISP pays $4388.43, medisave is $2737.60.

Most likely the WH bill is still correct because while the deductible is usually only paid once per policy year, there may be non-claimable items, prorated charges, benefit limits, or policy-year timing issues involved, so it's best to ask Income directly for the detailed claim breakdown to see exactly why $2,737.60 was taken from Medisave instead of just the co-payment.

If all 3 stays are within the same policy year, the deductible is usually paid only once, so the WH amount does seem a bit high. Best to check with Income for the claim breakdown, as there may be non-covered charges or other adjustments involved.
