Living care is decent as an advanced stage CI rider. Premiums does increase with age band and gets pricey after 50. And has a 30-day survival period instead of 7 days like most private CI plans. But still good to have.
Living care plus on the other hand, the ECI rider, is abysmal. It covers only 10 conditions, only early and intermediate stage and no advanced stage unlike almost every other ECI plan that covers all stages. Similar issue with premium and just not comprehensive enough.
I'd always recommend to get a comprehensive all stage CI cover and see MINDEF Living Care as an extra cover, instead of the other way around.
