Robo-advisor is a good start for beginners. You can also consider learning how to buy stocks/ETFs yourself using the available brokers out there

one advice that you can do is probably open a few stock-brokers to familarise yourself to the user-interface and the stock-market jargons.

you can also take advantage of the sign up bonus that each brokers offer to have the extra fund/shares to play around with. Take a look at my list for the promotions with extra cashback from me : https://linktr.ee/nicoleCai

Never venture into crypto as a beginner, just look at the recent ftx fall and the past cases that happened just this year alone

DBS digibank allows you to set up regular saving plan with DBS Invest Saver through the app. ETFs like Nikko AM STI SG ETF is a good start at minimum $100 per month. Once you set it up, you don't need to do anything. It will auto transfer monthly and you can see it directly whenever you log in to DBS app.

Syfe is very hassle free. You can transfer funds monthly to Syfe Cash+ and use the funds to invest in portfolio in SyfeWealth (Syfe REITs+ allow you to invest in Singapore REITs) and SyfeTrade in individual stocks (minimum 100 units) at minimal fees. The app is very easy to navigate for beginners.

Start small and avoid crypto
