Just out of curiosity, why is the DBS Woman's Card called a woman's card when men can apply for it too?

Why would you name it a woman's card when men can sign up for it too?

Just a form of differentiated marketing for the bank haha :)

they'd prob decided if so many men wish to apply for it and use it, there's no reason for them to reject the extra business

Should DBS change the name of the card to DBS's Man Card since man can be applied to both men and women.

It's probably what Aaron says.

Despite what we think of the banks, it is very likely that they are having certain systems run on very old architecture and messing with it is not recommended. Of course, critical infrastructure would probably be very updated.

I remember when working in my previous company, having IT upgrade my laptop from Vista to Windows 7....when the rest of the world was already on Windows 10. I didn't ask why, but I suppose if they went straight to Windows 10, something might just break.

The card was originally targetted at women at launch but DBS probably didn't feel the need to discriminate against men who wanted to apply for the card as well.

These were some of the perks of the cards aimed at women, which I think have since disappeared: twice monthly complimentary access passes at True Fitness and True Yoga, one-for-one dining privileges with the Feed at Raffles programme, complimentary access to Damai Spa at Grand Hyatt Singapore, complimentary Starwood Preferred Guest Gold membership
