Cash+ is not principal guaranteed, but I personally wouldn't worry too much. For one, the underlying funds have relatively short maturities, so the duration risk you're taking is not a lot.
The real risk is not so much a market crash but the risk of the underlying fund assets defaulting. In that case, you could lose your capital. But the fund holdings are predominantly SG government and high-quality corporate bonds, so the risk of default is very low too.
Ultimately, since Cash+ is not SDIC protected, there's always that risk, no matter how small. The question is whether you're comfortable taking this incremental risk for the higher yield of 1.75% p.a.
If not, you can check out GIGANTIQ, which is SDIC protected. I wrote a review here - do check it out :)

Syfe Cash+ does not guarantee your principal. However, it is a relatively low risk investment.
I have been using Cash+ for close to a month now and have received more than $30 returns with $10,000 principal, which is much higher than the projected 1.75% returns p.a. I believe that this is a good alternative to Singlife which has recently lowered the interest to 1.5%.
Do consider Cash+ seriously if you are comfortable with taking the risk and use the promo codes below if you are keen!
I invest my money using Syfe, you should try it as well. Use my referralcode: SRPSFRH8H. Learn more at syfe.com
