Hi there! Syfe Cash+ is a diversified investment portfolio of money market and short duration bond funds that is generally considered very low risk. This is because the funds have underlying holdings in safe, low-risk assets such as institutional deposits, government and high-quality corporate bonds.

While Cash+ is not insured by Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC), it offers broader diversification and relatively higher returns compared to bank deposits. The base interest rate for most bank savings accounts is 0.05% p.a. while the projected return for Cash+ is 1.75% p.a.

I hope this clarifies!

Syfe Cash+ is probably one of the most attractive cash management account at 1.75% p.a. Although it is not principal guaranteed, I'm confident that they'll deliver on their projected return.

The closest competition is actually Endowus' new Cash Management Ultra at 1.7% to 1.9% p.a. They released this after dropping the rate on their Cash Smart Enhanced product to 1.4 - 1.6%. Do check out my comparison here for more details!

In terms of liquidity, I think Singlife was still the best. You could get your funds almost instantly. For Syfe, Endowus & Stashaway, the withdrawal time is at least 3 - 5 working days. It's almost impossible to be any faster because they will need to redeem your bonds, wait for the fund manager to transfer your proceeds to them, then transfer the funds to your bank account. So you can also consider Singlife.

Take note that Cash+ is not an investment, the risk is super low. They invest in money market funds....
