Hi,
If you are referring to your Integrated Shield plan, no it is not covered. Integrated Shield plan only covers for pregnancy complications.
Great Eastern Life does have a plan that covers maternity costs (including pre and post-natal care). Its an International Health Insurance policy (Prestige Global Health) and it requires a 12 month waiting period before you can make a claim.
If you are interested to find out more, feel free to contact me (email at bio).
Cheers.

Hi anon,
The costs of pregnancy are generally not covered under insurance, e.g. check ups, etc.
However, you do have integrated shield plans that will cover pregnancy complications. Furthermore, you may get maternity insurance that will also specifically cover pregnancy complications, congenital illnesses, etc.
If you wish to cover the costs of giving birth, then global medical plans such as AXA's global care or Cigna's global health do cover such costs (including pre and post natal) with a waiting period. Such plans are very expensive however, and thus I don't recommend them in general. You'll be better off with an integrated shield plan and pairing it with maternity insurance.
