If you understand what does VOO entails and you have a long term time horizon, it would be good first exposure for sure.
Of course, in time, you will see if the glove fit aka whether your character would be suited to pick individual stocks instead for potential Alpha.
But ETFs like VOO is generally a very good start - and in fact, way of investing for life for the majority - as Warren Buffett say.โโโ
