Is it true that it is better to job hop every 1-2 yrs as there are better pay and position than staying in same company for long as the pay increment will not be as high?

If job hop, usually how much % do we request as compared to current pay?

1-2years in the resume may not look good unless you can justify and showcase your dept of achievements.

Depending on the company,it may be a red flag especially if they are looking for people who can commit for a longer term.

I think 3years is a sweet spot. When you hit 5-10 years and still hentakaki in the same position that will be another red flag.

  • 10 - 20%
  • becoz if u wan to promote to a higher position, u have to wait people to leave their place, and your boss choose you among the rest to take over that position.
  • if you have a boss that recognise your talent and willing to push you up , you may consider staying.
  • However, most of us, is better to jump as there is only one "choosen one".
