I see fees between IBKR and Tiger Brokers are quite competitive and are somewhat competiting whicah each other. However Tiger Brokers does have an advantage where one can trade in the China market at lower cost.
IBKR on ther other hand looks to be more cost effective when trading in US stocks.
What other pros and cons are they when comparing these 2 brokerages?

I would say it depends on your investment amount and needs.
If your investment amount is small, it may make more sense to go with Tiger as they do not have monthly minimum commission fee like IBKR does. However, IBKR has better forex rates which can add up if you are investing larger amounts.
Another thing to note is that IBKR has been around for a long time, while Tiger is sort of a new kid on the block. I am not too worried as they are both regulated by MAS, but as the saying goes, don't put all your eggs into one basket. Fun fact - IBKR is the clearing agent for Tiger in US and HK!
