Currently holding on to Citibank cash back + card, is it wise to cancel the Citibank one knowing it will affect credit score, or should I hold on to both?

Cancelling a credit card won't affect your credit score and applying another card is not a reason for cancelling existing cards. You may want to read this MoneySmart article on how credit score is affected:

I find it perplexing there is an increasing trend about worrying about one’s credit score. Since it’s not hard to build up nor does it have much impact on majority of Singaporeans given how public housing eligibility is based on mainly on income.
But here’s an article that provides a good breakdown how credit score is determined. The short answer is no unless you have a habit of late payments on your Citibank card.
