When you buy a single stock at $10, you will incur some transaction fee, say X dollar. Thereafter, you will incur another transaction fee when you sell the share at $10.90, say Y dollar.

Hi. It depends on how much of the stocks you buy. 1 lot is 100.
So assuming you get 10 lots,
Total cost: $10,000 + sales charge + SGX charge will be around $10,030.
When you sell, you will get back $10,900 - sales charge - SGX Charge, returns will be around $10,870.
Thus profit is $840. However, if you buy less lots, your profits will be alot lesser due to the minimum sales charge.
