If I am trading stocks and using a nominee account, is there any risk of naked short selling? I have 10 shares of "Stock A". I submit a sell order of 11 shares of "Stock A". Will the order get passed?

U can short without owning any stock.

risk = margin call.

To prevent margin call must pump $$$ into account to maintain the margin Which will result in unlimited loss.
