I want to get Bishan or Toa Payoh but I'm sure it will be very difficult to since these are hot estates. Also, there are no first come first serve basis. How to increase my chances of getting it?

The Priority Schemes by HDB can increase your chances of getting a good unit. This can include MCPS and MGPS if you qualify for them.

Sadly, there is not much that we can do to increase the chances of getting a unit in these mature locations aside from these schemes and just applying for more launches. November's Bidadari estate and February 2021's Bidadari estate are quite close, do consider trying again if you didn't make it the first time!

First timer family & non-mature estate. I applied BTO once (first time) but unsuccessful. If I applying for sales of balance (2nd time) and it’s unsuccessful, will I get 1 more ballot chance next?
