I'm considering between the Citi PremierMiles Visa card, OCBC 90N and DBS Altitude card, which should I get?

These seem to be the quintessential 3 cards when it comes to spending, any thoughts? I don't travel that much. What are the strongest merits for each and which do you suggest I get?

I will grab the OCBC 90N because of its ongoing promotions till 2020 Feb

If there are no extra changes after the promotion, I will continue on Citi PremierMiles.

Also, get all 3? and spend on the correct card partner when there is promotion. :)

As shared by many, all three are pretty similar except for a few factors that differentiates them. They are all good for general spending, but if I have to pick one, Citi PremierMiles could edge out due to the fact that they have the highest no. of partner airlines (12) that you could redeem these miles with.

That said, more importantly if you are a new-to-bank customer for any of these banks, that should be the card you should go for (especially if you have a huge expense coming up) to ultimately leverage on the sign-up bonus. I would recommend staying up to date with all these bonus via:

  • SingSaver or MoneySmart. They regularly share sign-up bonus from the various banks, say $250 for signing up for a Citibank card as a new-to-bank customer.

  • Milelion Roar telegram broadcast channel (https://t.me/milelionroars). They post all (I think?) promotions almost in real time, as well as compile a Weekly Deal Summary to ensure you do not miss out on any promotion. Best of all, it is a channel so no spams! Only the best stuff shared there

All the best!

Well, to keep it plain and simple, OCBC 90N has some promotion now that last till Feb 2020, so that would be my number 1. Next would be DBS Altitude as their promotions are quite good, and last would be Citipremier for the general spend.

Both cards are very similar, but I will take Citi PM, as they have far more transfer partners.

I also like the extra mpd (up to 10!) with Citi when booking hotels on Kaligo/Agoda/Expedia. If you travel for business and can book your own hotels and claim back from your company, this can be a killer way to accumulate miles

If you are crediting your salary to DBS multiplier account however, the DBS Altitude may be an option since it counts towards your interest bonus. That's about the one thing it has that edges out Citi PM.

Citi Premiermiles.

This is because Citi rewards points are able to be converted into a larger varie...
