I have a question for those in the 30s or reaching 30s soon do you think is crucial to get your own house instead of staying with your parents?

If you can, sure. I tried to get my own 2-rm flexi BTO but failed. My parents are also ok and leave me pretty much alone. I give them allowance and pay for the bills.

Its not crucial. But speak with your parents. As you never know what they are thinking, or having. If they have a problem, it could be crucial.
