General Investing

I currently have investments in Syfe's Equities, Core Balanced, and REITs, DCA $100 every month.

I'm looking to invest in Syfe's new thematic investment (specifically tech or china) but also looking to open a Tiger account to buy individual stocks.

In essence, I plan to have:

  • Four Syfe's portfolios (equities, core balanced, reits and thematic portfolio-tech/china) and DCA $100 into each every month
  • A brokerage account to buy individual stocks like Apple, Amazon etc.

Is it wise to do so? Or should I forgo the thematic portfolio and just buy individual stocks through a brokerage account?

If you are new to investing. It would be more favourable if you bought into Syfe Portfolios to check on your investment risk appetite. As to buy stocks, you really need to research and check the income sheets of companies to know what should be your target prices
