Credit Cards

I currently do not own any credit card. I use my parent's supplementary card at the moment but i am thinking of getting my own. Is there any recommendation?

I usually spend on F&B, Beauty and Online shopping :) For travelling, I travel about 2-3 times a year.

OCBC 365 credit card for cashback

UOB One Credit card for cash back (quarterly rebate)

Two cards for Miles

  1. UOB Priv Miles card (best return on a general use basic)

  2. Citi Premiermiles card (Miles do NOT expire)

I uses these 2 cards. UOB for most spending because it has the best returns.

And Citibank Premiermiles because the card earn miles that do not expire.

I like to accumulate them for future, in case I need to splurge on some special events or for some love ones.

Yes I would, just not to rely on parents!

And also if I were to buy something, parents won't be tracking expenses ;)

If you can meet minimum spending of $500/600 every month - UOB One or DBS Livefresh

If you can't meet the minimum spending - AMEX True Cashback, Standard Chartered Unlimited

If you prefer miles - UOB Lady Solitaire, DBS Altitude, DBS Woman's World

For F&B, Beauty & Online shopping, I recommend UOB One. They have a tie up with Grab now, 10% rebate, assuming you can spend $2000/month for 3 consecutives month (otherwise, it would be 3.33% + 5% Grab rebate if you just spend $500/month for 3 consecutive month).

For travelling and spending foreign currency, the miles to dollar is definitely better and I would only use miles card on that scenario. (PS, I am more of a cashback person!)

Hello. I use the DBS LiveFresh card for online and paywave purchases, including purchasing travel ti...
