Currently serving NS, but don't have a Hospitalisation insurance at hand. Want to know what are the benefits and premiums that I need to pay but unsure how to do? E.g. reach out to each insurance firm agent, give them my details, give me the quote & I choose which firm I wish to buy from?? Any tips and help for a 20Y/O male for hospitalisation insurance? Looking at AIA, GE, AXA, AVIVA or Snack by Income. Read the reviews for all but still unsure.

For hospital plans, can compare in MOH website. Premiums are available in the respective insurance companies website for your reference too. So this is the good thing. Don’t need them to give you the quote.
Do consider what kind of hospitals you want. Private hospitals or restructured hospitals. Restructured hospitals there’s A ward and B1 ward.
Then consider whether to add on the rider if you need / don’t need it.
Should get hospital plan ASAP when you don’t have any pre existing conditions. Don’t need to wait until after NS then get. Can just get it now if you can pay. Minimally should also get restructured B1 ward. :)
Some have claims based pricing now so do read a bit about it.

You don't need a Hospitalisation plan now since you're in NS. But you'll need one once you ORD.
