Hi all! Firstly, i'd like to understand the thinking process behind selecting a travel insurance. It seems to cover many things that I am already covered for like death or accidents - hence what factors are actually relevant?
Also if it is any helpful for context, I'm heading to France in the coming montha and am wondering if anyone has a company/plan they took up recently to Europe to reccommend and why.

Travel insurance is not really for covering death or accident. It's for covering travel disruptions, delay, curtailment, loss of baggage, overseas medical treatment including covid-19, evacuation, that you don't have.

Hello, I travelled to europe recently and get coverage from AXA, mostly due to the discount and the ease of claim from past experience. Also added the car rental coverage, as I was driving. You can see the comparsion of some plans here: https://plannerbee.co/learn-personal-finance/co...
