How do you save up on your electricity bills, even after switching to a lower-cost provider?

Switched over to Geneco and already used up the promotions. Any other hacks would be greatly appreciated!

Figure out which items in the house are using the most amount of electricity. Generally, it will be the air conditioner unit.

Other suggestions include charging your gadgets at the office instead, get a powerbank for weekends, as well as to switch off the light whenever it is not required.

Here is everything about me and what I do best.

Hi anon,

From what I gather from my friends, the biggest culprit is the air con. Some appliances have to be left on (like the fridge), and you can always turn off your TV and computers, and charge your phones in the office before leaving, but turning on the air con will add quite a hefty sum to the bill.

I don't have an air con, and save for a few nights in a year where it's really unbearably hot (I'll pull out a second fan for such nights), I am actually quite content to sleep without the air con. But if you already don't use an air con at home, then there's only so much you can reduce your bill by. If you can't sleep without it, use some kind of timer to have the air con turn itself off after a couple of hours. Usually the cooling effect is what you need to lull you to sleep and then you won't really need it any more.
