During WFH, strictly speaking, does the economic cost savings of transport outweigh your increase in electricity bills?

We save on transport time and cost, but we definitely use more electricity at home (laptop, charger, fan, light...). Are we actually saving overall, just economically speaking?

Hello, for me it does help to save a bit, maybe like a $10+? As usually I would get a concession which is around $50 but now the increase in my bills is around $30+ so it is an obvious cost saving not just in terms of money but time as well.

However, if you are someone who uses aircon, then maybe your bills would be higher than mine as I only on the fan.

I value time and convenience a lot but I just find it too much cost to bear in the house. Furthermore my family is one who does not on the fan and charger till the juice runs low and even then, we're feeling the pinch. Considering one big office electricity, cost used to be borne by company, now split amongst many workers' homes yet no pay supplement to support it, I don't quite like it.
In terms of saving as a nation, I really doubt so (one big office vs many relatively small homes). Companies do save on electricity bills though! Haha.
