How do I find which platform will allow me to invest in certain mutual funds/ETFs that I can't seem to find on the usual brokerages?

For example:

If I wanted to invest in https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/ACAFGAE:SM

or

https://sg.finance.yahoo.com/quote/NIKKOAMASIAH...

or

https://www.investing.com/funds/altshuler-shaha...

I'm not sure how to go about it.

Aside from this,

I use IBKR but it doesn't allow investors from SG to invest in VFFVX

Hey, you can directly check through the fund management company as to which their distributors are, or also through FSMOne as they have various options for almost all kinds of fund.

I don't use ibkr so not sure why. but generally, you should be able to find listed ETFs at any regular brokerages.

for a retail investor, you may have to find a distributor, such as FSM to invest in specific funds.

go to the fund manager's page and search who are their distributors, go to distributor's page and see if you can open an account with them, and then see whether do they sell the funds.

eg for nikko am: https://www.nikkoam.com.sg/authorisedfunds/dist...

note that if you want such specific funds, you may have to open different accounts with different platforms. and also not all distributors allow retail investors to open account.

hope this helps
