Household needs in Singapore - which are essential? And which shld be provided by self vs govt?
It's interesting the recent survey rated these as essential:
- Household appliance/furniture - Fridge, stove/cooking device, Mattress
- Digital Connectivity and device - Smartphone w data plan
- Social participation - Family bonding outside of home
- Item essential - Dine out at restaurant once a mth, annual overseas vacation in South east asia country, air-conditioning
Govt are expected to provide regular preventive health screening, Healthcare plan to cover bills, medicine, infant care/childcare, public transport.

True la. nowadays how to do without smartphone?
next thing is got phone no wifi no use.
so didnt govt help by the wireless@sg , free digital workshops?

True that the government should provide as much healthcare services for the citizens as they can! Also agree with the essentials like household appliances. Luckily the government has given out climate vouchers so whoever needs an upgrade in their essentials quickly go change! Saw this article giving examples of what to use the climate vouchers for and how to get the best deal! Not bad!
