Hi Bryan! I am loving it. I worked in a large institutional company for most of my 23 years in that industry. I have been working on Endowus for more than 2.5 years now and have enjoyed every moment of it. I am not a normal person I have to admit and I was never particularly addicted to the trappings of a large company with all the bells and whistles.
I was more frustrated at the lack of change or innovation or new ventures. So unleashing my creativeness in building something meaningful and purposeful and something that actually will help people and change their lives for the better is so much better than adding a few million or tens of millions to the bottom line of a massive company.
To find like-minded, professionally excellent people, who are also mission-focused, purpose-driven like the ones we have been able to assemble at Endowus is a delight working with them everyday.
I am also learning so much more and I have grown as a person in the process. Pursuing new and innovative way to solve real life problems to help people secure their financial future and solve the biggest problems of finance and wealth including the biggest single challenge we face as a soceity - retirement adequacy for all. I would have it no other way! Truly!
