Frugal fresh grad considering applying for a credit card

A bit about myself:

Income: $4k/m
Monthly Liabilities: Hefty $1.5k education loan, insurance $100
Spending:
I am very frugal. I eat chai fan everyday and only take public transport. My life just resolves around work, side hustle and family. Thus, this amounts to: $200 food, $100 transport. I invest the rest, after setting aside emergency funds.
Notably, I am intending to hold my wedding with a budget of 20k next year.

May I know what options I could consider? Or any arguments against getting 1

Hi Anon, would recommend SC Spree! Similar profile to yourself, spending less than $300 a month on Credit cards. Spree has 2% cashback no complex spending criteria and min spend. Esp if you have jumpstart acc already it works

I would suggest UOB absolute cashback for 1.7% (AMEX) and Citi Cashback+ (Mastercard) for 1.6%. No minimum spent for both.

Use Citi (for generous signup bonus and additional card perks) when AMEX is not accepted. Its also more convenient if you dont want the hassle of keeping track of your grabpay wallet when using grabpay debit mastercard

You can consider Revolut for transport, they’re having a promo 20% off public transport. Revolut fun...
