For FSMOne, what's the difference between investing in an equity using their RSP VS directly buying the equity itself?

I want to know whether there's any difference in cost in one or the other.

For example if I buy ETF A directly vs buying ETF A through RSP.

For buying, you pay a min sales charge of $1.07 usd and increasing using RSP while $9.42 for direct purchase.

For selling, there is no difference in cost.

Do take note of the buy/sell dates when using RSP
