For both Xun Xiang and Darren, when did the two of you get started with investing? Do you think there is ever an ideal age that you should get started?

I know the most obvious answer would be that to start early, taking into consideration the power of compounding.

I recently started investing.. my friends are starting to say that ever since i started, I became alot more money minded, started to ignore me.. Is this what people think of investors? How to avoid..?

How can i convince my spouse to start investing. My spouse thinks that it's better to just place $$ in FD..i've been trying to convince my partner that you'll get more return by investing.

My son aged 21 started his 1st job and asking how much to get insurance should he get for his dealth, critical illness , disability etc for now . Where is great ? He doing own investment.

Have been wanting to get started in investing in REITS and I think Syfe might be a good place to start. They have an option of "100% REITS" and "REITS with Risk Management", what do you recommend?

How do I get started in investing at the age of 19? What books would you recommend, and what steps to take after reading them?
